Duck Derby News!

It was close race and we are thrilled to announce the following ducks swam their hearts out over the finish line to win the race:

1st prize for $1500 - Duck #278

2nd prize for $500 - Duck #352

3rd prize for $500 - Duck #72

All prize winners have been contacted with this exciting news.

It was a truly interesting race, as when we arrived on site, we could see that the headwind was strongly going in the wrong direction for our duckies to make their way to the original finish line. With a few last minute adjustments to the course, the race was on!

Thanks to the Coboconk Lions Club for passing along all of their duckies from events past, and for their support and guidance in the planning for this year's event.

Thanks to the Coboconk, Norland & Area Chamber of Commerce and Riverside Inn for putting on a great street party for everyone.

Huge thanks to the wonderful volunteers and their families for bringing this event back to all of us - so fun! You are amazing!

Finally, thanks to everyone who purchased tickets - you helped to raise almost $8500 for the SWC and the much-needed services it will be home to!!
