ONLINE SILENT AUCTION RULES
By bidding in the Online Silent Auction, each bidder agrees to these auction rules.
1. Bidding will be open from 2:00pm September 16, 2025 until the close at 4:00pm October 5, 2025.
2. To make a bid, simply type the amount you wish to bid in the comment section of the post on the SWC-Fundraising Page on Facebook. Bids listed on any other Facebook page will not be accepted. The opening bid is $500. Each subsequent bid must follow the minimum increment of $50.00. Any bids not adhering to this format will be declared invalid and void.
3. You may bid on the 3 packages of 2 tickets until the auction is closed. For example, when the end time is 4pm on October 5, 2025, that means any Bids submitted until 3:59:59pm are acceptable. We use the FB timestamp as reference. If your bid is noon and beyond, that bid will not be accepted.
4. Once the auction is declared closed, the top 3 bids entered in the comment section that adheres to the designated increment shall constitute the 3 winning bids and will so be marked. In the event of a dispute, the CNACC will act as the final authority.
5. The winning bidder will be contacted to arrange payment (cheque, cash, or etransfer). Once full payment has been processed, arrangements for receiving the tickets will be determined.
6. Tickets will be transferred to the winners electronically. Winners will add the tickets to the wallet on their phone once received.
7. The SWC reserves the right to add or withdraw items, without notice, to or from the Online Silent Auction.
8. Auction item purchases are final. No returns will be issued, nor is it possible for the Game date to be modified.
9. The Summit Wellness Centre and CNACC provide no guarantees or warranties and are not liable for any personal injury or damage to property.
10. A charitable receipt is not available for auction items, as per CRA guidelines.
11. Any tickets left unclaimed will be offered to the next highest bidder and sold.
